Eucharistic Congress Ends with Revival
The Exhibit Hall at the Eucharistic Congress closed Saturday, followed by a procession of 50,000 people through the streets of downtown Indianapolis. The evening events featured a revival with Bishop Robert Barron, Catholic singer/songwriter Matt Maher, and Jonathan Roumie from The Chosen.
Sunday morning Mass will be led by a papal delegate.
“It was truly an extraordinary experience,” said Susan Ronan, secretary of the National Executive Council Secular Franciscan Order-USA.
On Sunday, tens of thousands of attendees will be commissioned to go out as missionary disciples as we enter the third year of the National Eucharistic Revival: the Year of Mission.

The Gospel Through a Franciscan Lens – 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Fr. Christopher
Fr. Christopher powerfully brings us back to the reality of God’s mercy and love in a world that seems so removed from that reality.
“Pope Francis has urged the peoples of the world to get in touch with God’s silent pulse of His love that permeates actively all of creation. God brings forth all creatures in silence and non-violence.”
