Beware of Scam Requests for Money and Gift Cards

Minister Jane De-Rose Bamman, OFS, cautions members to ignore requests that appear to be from her or other fraternity leaders requesting money or gift cards. “Never send gift card info or money in response to a “request from Jane” or another leader in the Order,” Jane said. Some fraternity members recently received a flurry of scam emails made to look like they were from Jane or other leaders in the Order, such as regional ministers.

BISHOP JAMES RUGGIERI, OFS
Bishop Ruggieri, who was previously a pastor in Providence, Rhode Island, was ordained a bishop on May 7, 2024, soon after being professed into our Order on April 13, 2024. He has been assigned to the Diocese of Portland which encompasses all of Maine.
