The CNSA is excited to announce that the 2026 revision of the Handbook for Spiritual Assistance to the Secular Franciscan Order will be available from the Gospel to Life Bookstore and online in PDF format beginning on the Solemnity of CorpusChristi, June 7th, 2026.

The 2026 revision features:
- Reorganization of content for easier reference and use,
- updates to current translations of the General Constitutions, the OFS Rule, and the newly approved (2024) International Statutes for the OFS,
- new chapters on spiritual assistance training and assignment,
- full guidelines on the establishment of a new fraternity,
- new chapter on Fraternities in Difficulty,
- and many other new features.
The purchase price of the hardcopy (looseleaf, three-hole-punched, and shrink-wrapped) from the Gospel to Life Bookstore will be $22.
